[Surat Thani, Thailand – October 5, 2026] Driven by the commitment to forestry sustainability and resource circulation, SMGE initiated a local forestry partnership in Surat Thani this October. We have initially introduced a 20kg packaged biochar and officially began delivering shipments on October 5 to plantations affiliated with the “Sustainable Rubber Producing Farmers Association of Surat Thani.”

Our biochar was primarily packaged and transported in FIBC bags, which posed handling and transportation challenges for small and medium-sized farmers. To address the operational needs of local plantations, SMGE specifically developed this 20kg specification, making transport, storage, and field application significantly easier for farmers.

Southern Thailand’s soils are predominantly acidic and sandy, long suffering from poor water retention and rapid nutrient leaching. SMGE’s biochar is produced through the high-temperature pyrolysis of agricultural waste, possessing high stability. The biochar’s quality has been thoroughly tested and certified by multiple domestic and international labs, ensuring it is completely free of heavy metals or chemical contaminants. SMGE’s premium and effective biochar also serves as an outstanding soil amendment. It can regulate soil pH, improve water and fertilizer retention, promote tree growth, and reduce the need for chemical fertilizers.
SMGE will continue to stand as a reliable partner for farmers by delivering premium biochar products alongside flexible service solutions. If you have any inquiries or purchasing needs regarding biochar, please feel free to contact us!
